At Delta faucet, they believe there are better ways to experience water. This conviction goes beyond design to incorporate smart thinking that anticipates people's needs.
beautiful, solid faucet

I purchased this faucet to replace an old model that was no longer in production. Overall I’m very pleased: it’s heavy, solidly built, and the pull-out mechanism feels like it will last for many years. I’m posting this review because I was unable to find a description of the “Arctic” stainless finish when shopping, and I wanted to share with other shoppers that it is is blue-ish when compared with “regular” stainless steel finishes (e.g., on my sink, air gap, soap dispenser, stovetop, hood, fridge, etc). It’s not a huge difference – my husband didn’t notice – but it is visible enough to me that I considered returning the faucet (ended up deciding to keep it because of the excellent quality and price though).
Love this faucet after weeks of research

First let me start out by saying I sometimes wish I could go back to the days when internet was not available and the only ‘research’ I did was reading the information on the boxes at the store. With that being said, I know I spent way too much time of my life reading reviews on pull down faucets and going to Home Depot and Lowe’s multiple times to test out various features. It came to a point I had to hide what I was doing from my husband because he could not believe that I had not picked a faucet yet. I just really want to get the best product for our money and needs.
A bit of trouble…

Update, October 2014:
Outstanding design and function

Although we’ve only had this faucet for 3 months, we are now Delta converts. This is the best kitchen faucet we’ve owned. The pull out nozzle comes out smoothly AND goes back easily, thanks to the magnetic fitting. The flow of the water is excellent and the long reach of the spout perfect for our

This faucet is exceptional, and has exceeded our expectations. Installation was simple and well-documented. The mounting plate below the countertop surface is a great design that holds the faucet rigidly–important for pull-down faucets that get extra wear and tear as the sprayer is pulled out on a regular basis.
Looks nice but hard to regulate spray

We needed to replace a leaky kitchen faucet (Price-Pfister) and decided to spend a little more than we had in the past in the hope of getting better quality. We decided to buy this Delta 9159 faucet based on its looks and Amazon consumer reviews. It was fairly easy for my husband to install, and it does look good. The design has pros and cons. The pros include the ability to easily change position, pull down the hose, and change from stream to spray. There’s really just one con, but I consider it a fairly major one: it is difficult to control the amount/force of the spray. Usually when I turn the spray on, even if it’s pointing straight down into the sink, water gets on the front rim of the counter (and sometimes my shirt). It’s pretty annoying, especially if I’m just rinsing one or two things and don’t bother to wear an apron. It doesn’t seem to bother my husband (who does use the sink for washing dishes and other purposes). He says I just need to get used to it and learn to control it better, but it’s been a few weeks and I still can’t control it. Guess I’ll just learn to live with it.
It works beautifully and looks awesome

Delta outdid itself with this faucet! This is really a number 10 in design and function! The Artic Stainless goes very well with my 30 year old Elkay stainless steel sink. It works beautifully and looks awesome! I chose a Kingston Brass Gourmetier purified water faucet in a chrome finish to distinguish it from regular water. It all looks so good together!

This is a superb product. Very well engineered and built. All the components are brass, stainless or plastic, meaning there are no parts to get rusty.
Pretty, But Easily Broken

I had this faucet installed 6 months ago. I had an experienced plumber install it and he said it was tricky. I had him take out as much of he could of the flow restrictor, so it has nice water pressure.
