The DEWALT DCS390L cordless circular saw provides the ultimate in power, performance and portability. Designed specifically to meet the demands of professional contractors, this 6-1/2-inch saw is powered by a high-output 18-volt lithium-ion battery that allows you to keep cutting long after other cordless saws have stopped. Some key features include: a high-efficiency, 3,700-RPM motor; high-strength, low-weight magnesium shoe and upper blade guard; and 50-degree-bevel capacity. And, with depth-of-cut capacities of 2 1/4 -inch at 90-degree, and 1 5/8 -inch at 45-degree (bevel), you can slice through 2-by lumber in a single pass. So, whether you're framing walls, cutting ceiling joists, trimming floorboards or ripping plywood roof sheathing, this saw will keep up all day long. The DCS390L comes with an 18-volt lithium-ion battery, one-hour charger, 6-1/2-inch carbide-tipped saw blade, blade wrench, and rugged storage case. It's backed by DEWALT's three-year limited warranty, 90-day money-back guarantee, and one-year free service contract.
I already possess one of these saws, and liked it so much I bought a second that I could keep at my winter home.
Excellent Circular saw
Excellent circular saw for outdoors when there’s no power to be found.
This is the one you want. Hands down.
Exactly what you see is what you get. One battery, saw blase, charger, obviously the cordless saw, and also the typical dewalt hard case. Works well super fast shipping! Cant go wrong with dewalt def top privider in power tools on the market and especially for the price! Ive worked on jobs sites and these things take a beating! The 18v ION battery seriously comes through in the long run! Dont think just add to cart and while your at it get a drill! Another tool to the collection and spare battery.
For Frustrated Makita Owners (Sorry Makita, just my personal opinion)
As a casual home repair and hobby woodworker, I use my cordless saw on a project every few weeks rather than daily. I spent nearly 2 years buying and returning (and sometimes just discarding) unrechargeable batteries on the Makita cordless saw (yes, even the Makita brand batteries or chargers have a problem no matter what they tell you). I would hold my breath when the battery ran down wondering if I was going to see that stupid flashing “battery failure” light on the charger once again. I kept the corded Makita on standby for battery failure and had to pull out the extension cords or hand saw more than I wanted. I finally tossed the Makita (temper, temper) and got this Dewalt. OMG – why did I wait so long! Until this purchase, all my other cordless tools were Makita, and most of my corded tools are DeWalt, but that may change in the future, I waited a while to give it a good workout, and I can now say that this saw is wonderful and the battery system is excellent!
What can I say it is DeWalt works great.
Husband loves it!
DeWalt Circular saw
This was a Christmas gift, so I will not be able to review at this time. The person receiving the gift was extremely ecstatic and hopeful to add other DeWalt quality tools to his inventory. I have used DeWalt for years and have always found them to be reliable and of high quality.
Great Little Saw
We’ve only used it on small home projects since we’ve purchased it but it’s taken them all on without question. Good power, decent weight, chewed through 2x4s and plywood without batting an eye. Battery lasts for a good amount of time.
dewalt cordless circular saw.
Have used the tool minimally so far, but so far it has met my expectations for a cordless saw. I bought this saw for it’s portability and use in small jobs, that I did’t want to find an extension cord and my Skill saw.
Good product for home owner.
Used it a few times. I needed a good “ligh weight” trim saw and this meets requirements. Easy to use, enough power. Need to cut in straight lines or the saw will bog down. Recommended.
