Beautiful, functional and well priced.
Beautiful styling. Excellent price compared to the competition. The product is heavy and solid. The valve mechanism glides smoothly with a medium to heavy hydraulic feel. It exudes expensive and luxurious. To address other peoples complaints about how the sprayer doesnt work well: All of the new faucets have to meet the 2 gpm regulations and there is only so much you can do with low flow, if you have low water pressure. I did a full kitchen remodel and had 2 of these installed for the kitchen sink and a prep sink. When I had them installed, my water regulator was defective and I had 150 psi of water pressure (my neighborhood is hilly and they have to make enough pressure to get water 300 feet of elevation higher than my house). So, when the faucet was on all the way and I hit the sprayer, it would instantly turn my kitchen into a mess. The water would hit the bottom of my 18″ deep sink and come spraying back out all over the counter top and all over the walls. It would strip food off of plates like you have never seen. But at 150 psi, it was putting out 5 gallons per minute at a head velocity that is 2.5 times higher than the standard 60 psi it is rated at. It was way too much. So I got a new regulator installed and at 60 psi, it was anemic and was more like what you use to rinse vegetables than what you use to clean plates with. But there is light at the end of the tunne! I turned the regulator up and at 75 psi, the flow and pressure on the sprayer is perfect!!!
BEST FAUCET I HAVE EVER OWNED!
HOLY SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA! I was going to buy one of the known brands like Moen and then this came into my life. I read some online reviews, but never expected this build quality or look in person….for reals! Full disclosure, I’m a GC and build high, high, high-end homes (did I mention I build high-end homes?). I work with the typ. supply houses like Ferguson where a similar faucet is well over $750, not this one. I feel like those idiots in the Wayf*^#er commercials, where they dance or drop their tablets/phones and I haven’t even installed this yet. Further yet, I worked in restaurants in my younger years and this (for the home) gives me the impression of a commercial-type fixture. I know there are some comments about flow, but what are you looking for? Blasting protesters? Fighting fires? This appears quite capable of getting your dishes, babies or small dogs squeaky clean . Remember when you purchase this you’re not going to have a standard stream, but if you’re looking for the perfect compliment in your modern kitchen this is going to fit the bill. Lastly, remember the size of your sink. This is big, so I would not recommend on anything under a 30″ sink and if you go that route (at 30″) , I would recommend a single basin.
Looks great, love the functionality. Minor gripes but overall 7/10
Excellent function, great form! The stainless look is clean and easy TO clean. The pot filler and sprayer holder arms both work as expected and are easy to use.
It really looks and fells like a high end piece for half the money
Let’s start with the positives: incredible finish and quality. Heavy piece that really gives the impression of durable construction. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and lifted the faucet! It really looks and fells like a high end piece for half the money. Good water pressure, excellent quality for the sprayer.
Spray head pressure FIX!!!
Let me start with a few of the more negative things I found with this faucet. First and foremost, its very tall and you really need to measure your overhead height above your sink. I never thought it was going to be an issue for me since our cabinets over our sink are pretty high… it was a tight fit. The second is the weight and pull on your sink, you really need a 16 gauge sink that is reinforced well at a minimum. The leverage that the spray head height adds to the base of the faucet into the sink is significant. Finally the last negative was the spray head pressure, it honestly was weak. I wanted a spray head to really rinse dishes off, this was the worst part for me.
Awesome commercial looking faucet
Wanted a commercial grade kitchen faucet and this comes pretty close. Needed a slightly larger hole size for the top plate than the Moen it replaced. The hole in the Kohler sink was fine however. Looks great and works great. Cranked up the water pressure some more and now the spray has some bad intent to it. Plus I got a good deal off Amazon Warehouse for faucet I would probably not spring for no pun intended but its out now so live with it. Its pretty industrial looking which fits in with our stainless theme. Some key takeaways- when the spray is on, the pot filler is off. Don’t ask me how it knows, it just does. No idea what the do-hicky on the side of the spray nozzle is for. Really easy installation. I just told the guy to put it in and he did. Simple. No below the sink hose mechanics to get hung up and kinked like the Moen did (on everything; several times a day). Wife is happy, Im happy. No complaints.
Heavy duty and a well made product.
We love this faucet so much heavy duty and a well made material. We never had a problem like other buyers had regarding any leak through the hose. We installed a brand new drop-in Elkay stainless sink, our plumber can only install the faucet through the stainless sink hole but not with supporting hole from the Corian counter top. Therefore made the faucet a bit wobbly but it was well screwed on the sink and we are not worry about it coming off. The design is very sleek and stylish. The only pet-peeves I had is in some areas is a bit awkward. The comment from “Maggie S’ below explain exactly the same issues I have with the faucet. Other than that we are dealing with it and happy with everything else.
You’re paying for quality, but not right out of the box… (you have to wait for them to ship you parts)
I’m going to give this 3 stars because of our P.I.T.A experience with it, but will reserve the right to lower it to 1 star. We received the faucet on a Sunday, and were pretty excited about it as our previous faucet was a rusted piece of garbage that we were thinking of replacing from the moment we bought our home. I installed it the same evening, and the installation was pretty straight-forward. My wife was pretty happy once the installation was done, as it is indeed a beautiful piece, and after turning the water on we were both happy to see good water pressure from the pot filler portion of the faucet. The sprayer, however, produced a sad trickle…
Awesome Faucet, Awesome Company
I bought this thing three years ago. I is beautiful and works great. Good value also. The reason I am writing this review three years after I bought it is that it recently began leaking out of the spout when the spray was engaged. Just searching on internet as to what may cause this and notice that there is a Kraus call in number. So I called. They explained that their products have a lifetime warranty and they explained that the leak was because of a small part inside the faucet. They sent me a replacement part with Utube on how to install it and now runs perfectly.
