I had bought a chromium kitchen faucet from Home Depot and within a year it had formed cracks in the handle and was spaying water everywhere. I wanted a quality replacement and decided on this product. While it has only been installed for a couple of months, it seems to be of a higher quality than the junk Home Depots peddles. I would have given this product 5 stars, but can’t until it proves it can last for years. But the brass fittings and nickel surfaces promise to make that a reality. If I can pass on one bit of advice, it is this: Whatever product you do buy, look for solid brass fittings and make sure the handle and hose aren’t chromium.
Solid-Built Faucet, No Plastic!

I just installed a Moen pull-out faucet similar to this Premier. The Moen was about the same price, but the main components were made of plastic and the base didn’t have smooth rotation. Also, the Moen pull-out handle was held in place by a flimsy receiver, which drove me nuts. So this Premier faucet installed fairly easily. If you have a tight area under the sink, get someone with small hands to twist the base support on. The Premier is all nickel and looks nice on any color sink, including a white sink. The valves are smooth and the base rotates effortlessly. Also, the pull-out handle plugs back into the receiver with a nice snap. Overall, a very high quality product for the price of the cheapest, name-brand faucets.

Brushed Nickel installed directly on stainless steel sink

The plumber just left after installing this faucet so I am just giving my first impression and can’t yet speak to durability. My plumber was not particularly impressed since he said that most faucets come with their own compression hoses and this model did not.
If you’re picky you may not like the color

I only just had this installed so can’t comment yet on it’s durability. There were previous comments saying it matched a stainless steel sink which is one reason I got it. I replaced a “high priced brand” in chrome. It looks OK with the older stainless sink which has a patina from use. However, the nickel has a warmer silver tone than stainless does. A little on the yellow side. So if you are extremely picky, you may not be satisfied. The other differences I noted are that the base plate is shorter than the plate it replaced. Therefore, I can see on the stainless sink the mark where the old plate was (for 17 years). I’ve tried buffing it out with a gentle abrasive but it is still visible. The flexible hose is a smaller diameter than the high priced brand I replaced, but I do not notice any diminution in water pressure.
Very good performance; very slightly off-center

This is a superbly performing faucet for the price. I installed it myself with the deck plate several months ago and we’ve had no problems whatsoever. Faucet in brushed nickel looks very nice, no imperfections. Installation went smoothly. Handle works well: water shuts on/off completely and volume/temperature control is smooth. No leaks anywhere. Switch between central water stream and multi-stream spray is easy and works well. Sprayer sits well into its holder; could be a more solid fit but not a problem. The one minor drawback is that the swiveling cylinder that the facet comes out of is slightly off-center from the short bottom cylinder, but I think that’s only noticeable to me because I’m the one who installed it.

This faucet replaced a Moen CA87316 that was a piece of junk (read my review and those of others about the Moen faucet and why not to buy it).
Leaks out faucet (TWO TIMES)

Do not buy it. I did as you are now… I checked reviews and most comments were very positive– and this faucet is attractive and at a very competitive price. HOWEVER the faucet has a flawed design. The faucet portion the pulls out with the hose has a poor seal on the o-ring and will drip out the bottom and proceed to drip down the hose and soak your cabinet underneath the sink– if you don’t believe me learn for yourself; I returned the product through amazon without issue thinking I might have gotten a lemon being that there were so many positive reviews so I replaced the original faucet with a 2nd one and immediately got the same results. I’m done with leaks- I think you get what you pay for; I’m now willing to pay twice as much for one that will not leak.
Great Faucet for the money

It was more difficult to remove the old faucet than to install this new one. Great mounting design that will allow a faster replacement down the line if ever needed. Water flow and angle of spray are both very good. It is beautiful in appearance and much cheaper than all the others that I considered. I made the correct decision to purchase this one.

I would highly recommend this faucet for the price. Easy to install, looks and works great and it’s still going strong after almost a year. No need at all to be spending a fortune in a big box store for a faucet, get this one, I love it. We installed the base with it at first but it seemed like a loose fit so we redid it without the base, it’s much tighter and perfect. My advice – save time – don’t install the base, besides, it looks much nicer without it.
