Decent faucet for the price

GOOD QUALITY @ an AFFORDABLE $$

This is a quality, well built faucet at an affordable price. The jet sprayer has a more high pressure concentrated spray pattern rather than a typical fanning out pattern which works great for pre-rinse prior to going in the dishwasher. The long neck handle reaches all the way to the middle of either of my twin sinks while in its holster. The counterweight retracts the hose beautifully. We replace a similar faucet by Moen and this faucet is a better quality in my opinion. My wife is very happy with it and that’s all that really matters.

I was skeptical because of price and some reviews.

I was skeptical since it was so much cheaper than other faucets and there was some negative reviews. The body is mostly plastic but what do you expect for the price and what isn’t these days without spending an arm and a leg. Some people said it came with a weird size fitting and would need adapters. I figured well for the price of the faucet it would still be worth it and adapters would be cheap. That person must be the one with the nonstandard size because it was the right size for me. Also, some people said it was hard to install. The only hard part of installing is crawling under the sink and reaching up to the faucet, but that’s all faucets. I thought the instructions where easy to understand but I’ve always been a jack of all trades type. Someone said it leaked right away out of the box. I don’t remember the instructions saying to use Teflon tape on the connections for the hot and cold but it’s pretty much common knowledge. Teflon tape is used for those fittings NOT the two connections for the sprayer, those have orings. I bought it since I live in an apartment and didn’t want to spend a lot of money for someone else’s property. It was a pain washing large dishes like big pots and pans and our crock pot and I love it!! You can’t tell it’s plastic until you touch it and use it. It looks expensive. The box says it has a 10 year warranty. Even if it does only last 10 years definitely worth it!! I THINK the negative reviews are from people that aren’t the handyman type. When I get a house I’ll be ordering again!!

Very Nice Faucet

Great quality product for the price. We’ve been using it for about a month; no problems. Inclusion of an installation sheet would be helpful for a novice (unit did not come with any instructions). But installation is rather straight-forward. Faucet comes with stainless-steel wrapped water supply hoses (each about a foot long), though they are not labeled hot or cold. By blowing through the hoses with faucet in “on” position (either hot or cold) before installation is helpful to determine which is which. I love the pull-out handle (reaches 2 feet easily), and the shower vs aerated push-select knob is very user friendly. Water pattern (shower vs aerated) stays in its selected position until it is changed, unlike some other units which are spring-loaded and return to aerated pattern after water handle is shut off. Shower pattern, even at full-pressure, is a soft shower, not aggressive (so water does not splatter all over the place). I dunno any other way to explain it. Overall, I think the engineers who designed this faucet put some good thought behind it. It’s user friendly and the way individual components assemble easily together make it a nice, leak-free faucet. For the price, can’t beat it. Time will tell in terms of the chrome finish durability; I’m optimistic. Finally, there’s a small blue/red rubber plug on the front side, base of the handle. When the plug is removed, it appears to be a tiny allen-wrench set screw inside ( which is presumably to remove the handle should the faucet need servicing). Hopefully this review is helpful for others. Overall, this is a very nice faucet.

Excellent unit once installed, though I had to do a lot more plumbing work than expected:

Excellent unit once installed, but I had to do a lot more plumbing work than expected: The hot and cold female hose connectors from my old faucet were 7/16 ” fittings whereas the Premier faucet has 3/8 ” fittings. In other words, the existing hot and cold water shutoff valves could not connect to the Premier valve’s 3/8″ female hose fittings. Home Depot & local hardware store had no suitable adapters so I ended up having to replace both water shutoff valves beneath the sink to accomodate the 3/8″ Premier Faucet connectiors.. To make things more interesting, the new a cold water shutoff valve had to accept the 3/8″ connection from the Premier Faucet AND a 1/4″ female connection for the refrigerator Ice maker & water dispenser. Similarly, the new Hot Water shutoff valve had to accept the 3/8″ connection from the Premier Faucet AND a 1/2″ connection to the dishwasher. The two new shutoff valves cost around $25.00 EACH, so that upped the price of the Premier faucet considerably.

Perfect for my 5th Wheel Travel Trailer.

We selected this faucet to replace the factory installed faucet and sprayer that came in our 5th wheel travel trailer. I replaced the old sink at the same time, the pre-assembly onto the new sink making the entire job much easier. The faucet is light weight, sturdy, with excellent water flow with both the on-demand water pump and water hook-ups. The sprayer has a button on the head to toggle between “stream” and “spray” . The only issue is the complete lack of instructions. None. Took a few minutes to figure out what was needed for my install since this faucet is for use with both 3 hole and 1 hole sinks. Great quality for the price. Highly recommended for RV’s with one caveat – my RV uses Plastic PEC plumbing connections so I needed adapters to connect the faucet to my RV plumbing. They are readily available at any big box DIY / hardware / builders supply type store.
