Pure convience

 on October 18, 2011

I’m a big fan of Ryobi, have this saw, flashlight with rotating head, reciprocating saw, chainsaw, weed eater, drill, miter saw, etc… This thing is the best. I have a high end Hitachi corded 12 inch saw that hasn’t seen work since I got this. Built a planter box with frame to hang bird netting to keep the squirrels out. Used it to cut all the 2x4s. Battery lasts surprisingly longer than I thought. It doesn’t come with a battery but I have 4 batteries and they all last surprisingly long in my opinion. The pure convienince of this thing is worth the purchase. Grab it, pop in a battery and just go at the speed it lets you and you’ll be fine. Granted everything I do I consider rough cutting with no massive jobs. I will still use my miter saw for trim work, crown molding, ect. but everything else will be with this cordless saw.

Great saw.

The saw is great. I love it. I don’t need to use it frequently so this is just perfect. Service was excellent.

My 1st circular saw

This is my 1st Circular saw. I really wanted a cordless saw because of the ease of use it would provide. This saw has nice features and portability that make it truly awesome to someone that’s been using hand tools only (non electrical) for some time.

Robi 18V ONE+ 5=1/2" cordless saw

Takes my existing Robi One + batteries. This is a real plus. The multipurpose blade included with the saw does quite nicely on 1/2″ plywood and pine. The power is up to these light jobs. A most convenient saw! It has freed me from the inconvenience of a corded saw.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND ENJOY YOUR CORDLESS SELF WITH THE 18V ONE PLUS SYSTEM ITS NEAT.

PRODUCT SEEMS TO BE OF GOOD QUALITY AND WORKING CONDITION. IT SEEMS TO HOLD A STRAIGH EDGE IN CUT AND ITS NICE COMPACT AND LIGHT WEIGHT. I REALLY HAVE ADOPTED THE RYOBI LITHIUM 18V ONE PRODUCTS AND HAVE BEEN RATHER IMPRESSED WITH THERE DURABILITY AND ABILITY TO HOLD A CHARGE IN GENERAL. FAIR PRODUCT AND A FAIR PRICE. THEY GET THE JOB DONE IF YOU TREAT THEM RIGHT AND DONT TREAT THEM LIKE AN 8 STORY CONSTRUCTION DROP OFF A LADDER. YEAH THEY ARE MADE OF PLASTIC, FOR THE PRICE AND PRICE OF MARKET IN COMPETITIVE THEY ARE REASONABLE AND WITHIN THE GENERAL CONTINGENCY OF ALL THE OTHER MARKET COMPETITIVE PRODUCTS. I REALLY LIKE THEM AND HAVE BEEN USING THEM FOR ABOUT 4-5 YEARS ON A HAZELNUT FARM HERE IN OREGON FOR ALL SHOP AND FARM CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS. THEY HAVE LIVED UP TO MY FAIR EXPECTATIONS AND I AM A REAL ESTATE APPRAISER TO BOOT. THEY ARE REASONABLE IF YOU NEED A $500 DOLLAR CONTRACTOR GRADE ITEM, THEN I HOPE YOUR A CONTRACTOR, AND NOT A DO IT YOURSELFER. YOU COULD BUY A CONTRACTOR FOR THE PRICE OF THE TOOL. NO KIDDING. ENJOY GIVE THEM A CHANCE THEY ARE RIGHT THERE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PACK OF COMPETITIVE BRANDS BY MY ESTIMATIONS OF RATING AND ARE RELIABLE BEYOND A YEAR, IF YOU TAKE CARE OF THEM.

Perfect for small jobs

This might not be the tool for a contractor because the battery can wear down pretty fast. But we just needed it for small jobs when building a fence, and it worked beautifully for that.
