Jam-Free, Mess-Free Feeds
The Waste King Knight is a continuous-feed disposal, which means you can add waste while the unit runs. Stainless steel swivel impellers reduce jamming.
Grinding Components Minimize Noise and Wear

Easy Installation; Works with Septic Tanks
The Knight includes Waste King's Snap and Lock mounting system to allow easy replacement for most existing disposers. The disposer is safe for properly sized septic tanks and comes with a 36-inch power cord.
Lifetime In-Home Service Warranty

This means that if your disposal develops a material or mechanical defect within the lifetime of the original purchaser, it will be replaced in your home — free of charge. The disposer also comes with a lifetime warranty against corrosion.

My late 80s disposal was outputting unacceptable size of food and causing occasional clogs of the drain system. A replacement was clearly needed. I was not new to waste king products, having put in a 1Hp model in the last kitchen and satisfied with its performance.
Could have been so much better

We bought this because of the reviews and silent operation and the fact that it was made by Anaheim Manufacturing and we have used their disposals in the past with satisfactory results. The issue is the black rubber food guard you see when you look down at it. Unlike most of their Waste King designs it cannot be removed. So it will collect food and is subject to discoloration over time depending on what goes down your sink. It also seems to not let water flow down it easily and is very thin. If it was like most Waste Kings it would be thicker and you could just slide it out to clean it or replace it – not on this model. We called Anaheim Mfg and asked them why it was like this and they told us this unit was custom made for and is only sold by Amazon and that this is how Amazon specified it should be built. Not sure if they were just passing the buck or if this was just an oversight on Amazon’s part, asking it to be designed this way.
Better than most

Just replaced an 18 year old 333 Insinkerator (3/4HP) disposal. I bought this instead of the Insinkerator Evolution Excel 1HP.

I have never had a garbage disposal in my home before but after seeing and experiencing how useful they were in the sinks at work I have wanted one for a long time. At the office we have
Great Disposal for the price.

Bought this in Feb. to replace a 25 year old disposal. Did a lot of research on Amazon and other sites. This is rated neck and neck with the InSinkerator Evolution. Went with this because it was half price of the Evolution.
Mercedes Benz of disposals. Quiet, powerful and looks great. They back it with a lifetime in home warranty.

I replaced a Badger 1/3 horsepower disposal with the Waste King Knight 1 horsepower disposal. We have lived in our house about 4 years and our current disposal has worked ok but it doesn’t have a whole lot of power. It has enough to get the job done most of the time but I have also jammed it several times over the years. Once they are jammed it can be very difficult to clear the jam and also very disgusting to put your hand into the disposal to locate and eliminate the jam. The Waste King Knight disposal has 3 times as much power so I was happy to give it a try.
Great quality at a good price, shipped quickly!

A very well made unit. The size made installation a bit more difficult but I was able to do it myself without a plumber.

I replaced a .5 power badger disposal. I did do the replacement myself (I am female), which wasn’t too bad. The new disposal didn’t come with the little tool to loosen and tighten the mounting ring and I didn’t have the one from the old disposal since it was already here when I bought the house. I improvised with an allen wrench, which worked ok, but I was unable to completely tighten the mounting ring to the point where it locked into place. The disposal is large, but it appears to be all motor. I’m used to the disposal cavern being fairly deep, but in this one it’s pretty shallow. The issue I’ve found with that is it can shoot stuff back out into the sink and air when you turn it on. It is slightly quieter than my old disposal, but no where near the point that I can still hear the TV over it, but that’s not a big deal at all. It also seems I have to run the disposal for a bit longer than my older one to take care of all disposed items. Other than that, it works just fine for a garbage disposal.
R2D2 Waste King….

Traded in my insinkerator for R2D2 look alike…..see ya insinkerator… no more sink clogs and plunger action!!! 1HP motor shreds everything and much quieter than the insinkerator. It was a bit of a hassle to install lining up the dishwasher drain and regular drain…but not too bad..comes with everything you need to install except plumbers putty and a set of extra hands. Looks like R2D2 almost ashame to hide under the sink…
This thing is impressive

When I first told my husband I got a garbage disposable and it’s on its way his response was “why? Its not like we need it. ”
